              COVID-19 UPDATE: 19 APRIL

Our online shop has REOPENED TO MEMBERS ONLY for orders of seeds, a small selection of Speedings and Gamblers Choice bulbs.

We thank our extraordinary gardening community for all their patience and kind words during this time.  The temporary closure of our shop allowed us to make the drastic operational changes required to keep our staff safe and your orders flowing out the door.

Existing orders – are being packed as quickly as possible. If you placed an order before the 20th March and have yet to receive a despatch notification email, please contact us with your order number so we can check its status.

New orders - as we re-open we do not know what response to expect, nor the impact any future change in government restrictions will have on our despatch capabilities. There may still be delays, but we have restricted the available products to those that are the quickest to pack and the safest in a delayed post system.

Our gardens and retail stores remain closed to protect the health of our staff, members and the wider community.

              The Diggers Foundation

Clive and Penny Blazey, founders of The Diggers Club, gifted ownership of their highly successful garden company, along with family-owned properties Heronswood and St Erth, to The Diggers Foundation (formerly the Diggers Garden and Environment Trust) in 2011.

“We established The Diggers Foundation to ensure that the work we’ve done over more than 30 years in preserving historic gardens and houses as well as the best garden traditions through education will continue forever,” said Clive.

The Foundation strives to conserve historic gardens, buildings and cultural heritage and to protect heirloom seeds and our Vision is:

“To encourage and inspire gardeners to create beautiful and productive gardens for a sustainable future.”
